The 3 types of back pain sufferers, which one are YOU? - Chiropractor Box Hill

Q. So how common is neck and back pain in Australia?
A. Very.

Neck and Back pain is:
The second most common health complaint and
The second most common reason to have to take time off work
                      …(common cold is #1 for both)…

Here are the stats you need to know!
80% of people will have neck and back pain in their lifetime, (50%) before the age of 20.
2 out of every 3 people will eventually suffer ongoing neck and back pain.

It breaks down like this (approximately).
The 3 types of neck and back pain sufferers:

#1   33% of people will have either no pain, or only 1 or 2 episode of pain during their lifetime, and are otherwise pain free, lucky them!

#2   the next 33% of people will have ongoing pain, they will experience at least 1 episode of pain every year.

#3   The final 33% of people experience almost constant neck and or back pain on an ongoing basis, they are suffering this very minute.

As we continue with these blog posts we will cover the most effective and efficient ways by which you can help yourself reduce and prevent neck and back pain…

PS. just an interesting little fact according to a recent survey:
This month the average adult, no matter where they live in the world, will have ON AVERAGE either:
- neck pain or
- back pain or
- the common cold
…so if you didn’t have any of these last month, spare a thought for the poor souls who had all 3.
